Time to say "Goodbye"....
April, 28th was a very special day for us. In fact, THIS was our last 'normal' day at school, having lessons and seeing our teachers. Secondly, THIS was the day of an official celebration in the culture centre "Chemik" where we were handed our certificates. This was also an occassion for us to say "Thank you" to our teachers, who had been preparing us for the school - leaving exams in May for the last three years.... Lot's of tears, warm words and best wishes for the oncoming exams:))
The prom
On Friday night (January, 27th) we had one of the most joyful school celebrations - the prom. It took place in the restaurant called "Leśna Perła" in Rudziniec Gliwicki. Everybody was really excited about this and we really had a good fun! The celebration started with dancing a traditional Polish dance - "polonez" - to which we had been praparing for quite some time on the PE classes. Then, a delicious supper and finally - partying, dancing, taking lot's of photos and enjoying one of the most memorable moments in our secondary school education. The prom reminds us also of the date of our Matura exams - which are more-less in 100 days! From now on - we are really starting to learn:)
Mock matura exams
January - this month we're having mock Matura exams - it means we're taking tests to see our preparation for the May exams. Wish us luck!
Christmas Meeting
As usual, December is connected with clebrating Christmas and that's what we did on the very last day before Christmas break. On Dec 22nd we had our last Christmas meeting in this school. So it was great - we had delicious food, nicely decorated tables and presents of course! Mr Tracz as the second teacher in charge was invited too and he also made wonderful presents - Christmas cards for every student in class with individual wishes for everybody. And it appeared how well a teacher can know his class....:)) We had a karaoke carol singing and the atmosphere was really nice. I think we will remember this meeting for quite a long time....:))
Our trip to Wrocław
November, 18th
This day we had an amazing possibility to enjoy ourselves in Wrocław - visiting the gallery, Hydropolis - an extraordinary place where you can get to know lot's of things about WATER; we also visited the market square with its outstanding Christmas Fair.... Not mentioning a breathtaking view from the Skytower in the evening:) We got back very late but extremely happy that we could be together as it was our last class trip:))
